Just Sew It

*&$%#@*#$ Punks

That is what I said on my way to my scrapbooking crop night on Saturday. Why you ask? Well, traffic was crawling on the freeway and it took me 40 minutes to travel a short distance. Accident? No! A bunch of punks were being arrested. Their car which was probably stolen and the cop’s cars were sitting in one lane leaving a sea load of drivers to squeeze into one meezley little lane. I was so mad that these hoodlums make me late for my crop night. I hope these buggers spent the night in jail. They didn’t look too happy. On the way home, driving was a little scary too. A lot of reckless drivers on the freeway… again…. damn punks. Listen to me…. punks, hoodlums. I sound like an old woman. Life sure changes!

Anyways, I had fun at my crop. With the socializing and cropping, I enjoyed my time away from the kids. I completed three layouts:

Scrapbook2

It took me an hour to make this backpack!

The title on this one is going to be “A River Runs Through It”

So, that’s it for the scrapbooking.

After taking my dd school clothes shopping, I cut out part of my jean jacket. I just cut out the collar, front facing, pocket facing and cuff in the green corduroy that will accent the black denium. I’m tired. Can’t you tell? My spelling goes out the window when I’m tired.

Life is just getting in the way of my sewing.

Sassafras Lass Scrapbooking supplies

I was browsing the Two Peas in a bucket layout gallery and stumbled upon layouts using a new line of papers and embellishments – Sassafras Lass. Kind of doodly like. According to the latest issue of Better Homes and Gardens Scrapbook etc., doodling is the latest rage in scrapbooking. I quite like it. This issue is a good one. Check it out.

Scrapbooking

I like to scrapbook. Like. Not love. My passion is sewing but I do like to preserve precious photos. Most of my photos go in a photo album but I do like to do some scrapbooking so I can journal special memories. Scrapbooking is very expensive so I try to keep it down to a minimum. I find many companies/magazines focus on selling their products instead of encouraging the journalling part. But then they would never make any money. I will never post my layouts simply because I don’t like to disclose too much about my family. You never know if a lunatic is reading my site.

Any scrapbookers reading my blog??
