Just Sew It

I have loved Amy Butler’s fabric for a while now and it seems to be one of the few that I really love. There is one in particular that I love I purchased a couple fat quarters for a quilt that I am presently working on. I went back to the same store to buy some yardage from a bolt and they don’t HAVE ANY!!! There is only one other store in my area that carries Amy Butler and they don’t have it either!!!! I could order it online but coming from the states it is so expensive with duty, shipping and exchange. Aaargggh! This fabric that I want is by Belle and is called Pine Coriander. I have some scraps and just may make myself a bag for the Spring/Summer.

Today I finally picked up some quilt batting and fabric for the back of my friend’s quilt. Warm and White is what I purchased from Fabricland. That’s it for quilts until the fall. I want to do some apparel sewing, home dec and some crocheting and maybe some knitting. Now I just have to learn about yarn. There are many wonderful resources on the net for yarn. Looks just as delicious as fabric.

Another blogger stumbled onto my blog and I like reading her blog very much so. She lives in Alabama and loves to sew, scrap, knit and photography. Very interesting.
