Finished ‘er up!!
My jean jacket is finally complete. I finished sewing on my buttons last night. I have a selection on my precious just for attaching buttons and I love it. A zig-zag works fine but this feature is specially just for buttons. Overall, this pattern was easy. I thought it would be hard but it was not. Kwik Sew is my all time favorite when it comes to instructions and the actual pattern. I actually very proud of myself for sewing a jean jacket. I’m not one to brag about things but I just can’t help myself.

I purchased a olive green purse to specifically match my jacket (and a wallet). Winners rarely lets me down.
What’s next? A nightgown for my dd, an apron for Christmas. Next week I start my two classes: Speed Tailoring and Beginner quilting.

Wow! I’ve been following your process. It looks wonderful! I have not sewn clothes in ages and really would like to get back into it. You’ve given me some food for thought. Way to go! It looks great!
