This month I am only going to be cutting out a number of patterns and will sew them up in February and March. I really want to wait until I get my new machine. I have decided to sell my Hobby machine. I thought I would use it as a second machine but when I tried my mom’s machine I changed my mind. She has a Bernina Record 830 and even though it is older it sews beautifully. My mom has not sewn in 20 years and only uses her machine for mending or should I say my dad. When I need a second machine I will just borrow my mom’s machine. I thought my Pfaff Hobby was great but after trying my mom’s old Bernina and my new machine I now know how crappy my first machine was. My first sewing machine was a Singer and it sewed fast and shook the table. It was hard to control and I hated it. That led me to buying my first Pfaff machine, my hobby 1042. I will always have fond memories of that machine but it is time to graduate to a more mature machine. Can’t wait.
