The Iocchelli name is shared by a very small group of people. Our family name comes from my dad’s dad – Fausto Iocchelli – an orphan with a 100% unique last name. My guess is that when my Nonno was orphaned, his last name was miss-spelled from either Iacchelli or Iochelli (two much more common Italian surnames).
Name origins aside, this place is intended to be “Iocchelli-Central” – a place where I’ll post miscellaneous personal and Iocchelli clan ramblings.
